Le Forum des Jeunes Entrepreneurs

L’entrepreneuriat, beaucoup de personnes en rêvent, sans pour autant trouver le soutien nécessaire afin de réaliser leurs projets. L’ambition première de ce Forum est donc d’établir un point de rencontre pour les jeunes qui se destinent à des carrières d’entrepreneurs en leur offrant des opportunités de nouer des contacts et d’avoir accès à des outils et des services utiles à l’accomplissement de leurs objectifs.

Le Concours « Business Plan » constitue le principal axe du forum et attire des entrepreneurs du monde entier. Le Concours « Business Plan » offre la possibilité aux participants de présenter leurs idées à un jury de professionnels composé d’investisseurs, d’entrepreneurs et d’experts du secteur industriel travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les investisseurs. Cette année, le président de ce jury sera Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, fondateur du groupe EasyJet. Les gagnants recevront des prix et du soutien de la part du jury. Chaque participant pourra également recevoir un feedback immédiat de la part du jury ou des propositions de financement qui permettront à certains de démarrer leur entreprise.
Les participants pourront également participer à des conférences portant cette année sur ‘Being an Entrepreneur or an Intrapreneur’. Son Altesse le Prince Albert II de Monaco ouvrira d’ailleurs cette série de conférences en évoquant l’importance des entrepreneurs au sein de la Principauté de Monaco et dans le monde. Ces conférences porteront sur des sujets allant des corporations aux petites start-ups, en passant par la motivation, le challenge d’être entrepreneur, les témoignages de jeunes entrepreneurs ou le commerce.

L’International University of Monaco est une institution indépendante fondée en 1986 qui propose une offre de formation innovante qui combine les savoir-faire américain et européen. L’Ecole a su profiter de sa situation unique en Principauté de Monaco pour développer un portefeuille de programmes en relation avec son environnement. L’IUM propose ainsi un programme bachelor en management, un Master en Finance, un Master of Science en Management du Luxe, un MBA full-time (classée 42ème sur 100 par The Economist Intelligence Unit), un Executive MBA et un programme doctoral.

Next Generation Entrepreneur Forum
Monaco, 6th & 7th of May 2010
The Next Generation Entrepreneur Forum (NGEF) will take place at The Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
This internationally renowned entrepreneurial event will consist of two days of conferences, debates
and social activities. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network with the best in the business, including
angel investors, venture capitalists, and highly experienced entrepreneurs.
The NGEF has always been a unique networking opportunity for business students around the globe
who wish to start their own business either immediately after graduation, or in the future.
For many being an entrepreneur is just a pipedream, with this next generation of inspiring innovators
finding themselves with little support to help realise their dreams. The NGEF is different. Our ambition
is to create a meeting point for these young people and to create a network which provides the tools
and advice they need to help them fulfil their potential.

There is one main focal point of our conference: the Business Plan Competition, which attracts
entrepreneurs worldwide. Through the Business Plan Competition, participants’ idea will be judged by
a professional jury, presided by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of the Easyjet group. This jury also
includes investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts who all work closely with investors. The
winners of the competition will receive cash prizes and support from the investors. There is also the
opportunity for each participant to receive feedback from the jury, as well as funding from any
interested parties to help start their own business.
This year, the NGEF event will be opened by H.S.H. Albert II who will expose all the opportunities and
support the Principality of Monaco offer to the young entrepreneurs. During these conferences
attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a panel of speakers from all over the world, with a wide
variety of professional backgrounds. This year, the main topic of the edition 2010 will be on being an
Entrepreneur or an Intra-preneur and how to get started with or without the corporation. The NGEF will
have the honour of welcoming globally-renown business leaders who will share their impressive
experiences.
