WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY

JOURNALISTS FOR INTERNATIONAL PEACE is marking the World Press Freedom Day on Sunday to create awareness about the significance of freedom of the press and urge governments to respect and uphold the right to freedom of expression enshrined under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In the provincial metropolis, various organizations will mark the Day by holding iscussions on issues related to media.
