The Notorious IBE is back for it's 9th edition since 1998. On september 11, 12 and 13th. the International Breakdance Event (IBE) will take place in Heerlen, down in the south of Holland. After a successful first edition in Heerlen last year the IBE organisation and the city are now ready for another great festival.

The Notorious IBE realizes unique meetings among general public, both amateur and professional dancers as well as other aspects of the Hip Hop dance culture. BBoying is the main thing during the festival, but also other related dance styles such as Popping, Locking, New Style & Hip Hop are brought to the attention.
This year the festival presents about a total of 30 different programs like dancebattles & competitions. Expected highlights in the program include the European qualification for the UK BBoy Championships. Seven2Smoke, The BGirl Crew Battle and Circle Prinz IBE and the highly anticipated All Battles All 2009 in which the best dancers from USA, Korea, Europe, Brazil/Mexico will represent their country.

This year the IBE festival is extended with some special masterclasses, expositions, talkshows and the big Notorious IBE Quiz. And like in 2008 the outdoor live music stage will present where some great shows by DJ Flexican ft. Mc Sef, Zo Moeilijk, & Kohfie Konnect. Headlining the stage is the Amsterdam based New Funk band Lefties Soul Connection.

On Sunday september 13th the festival will be closed with the legendary ‘All Battles All’. Top BBoys of Brazil/Mexico, Europe, Korea and the USA are battling against each other in spectacular and energetic dance battles.
